Returning in all its glory for the first time since 2017, Dover Street Market Market is back after six years, running from May 16 to 21, 11am to 8pm daily. The esteemed multi-brand store, known for stocking beloved upcoming labels such as Chopova Lowena and Kiko Kostadinov as well as luxury staples like Prada and Raf Simons, will be taking over Printworks for a week-long shopping extravaganza that its calling Dover Street Market Market Works. With Printworks having its final music event on May 1 (or at least until 2026, as their Insta teases), there’s nothing like having a good ol’ archive sale to breathe some life back into this iconic space.
With a series of exclusive VIP preview days before the event is open to the public, the rails will showcase a variety of pieces from the DSM archives, including all Comme des Garçons brands and fan favourites such as Nike and Knwls. With discounts going up to a mouth-watering 80 percent and stock being replenished daily, Christmas has come early for fans of the intersection between high fashion and streetwear.
If this isn’t enough for you to shimmy your butt down to Rotherhithe, Printworks is also going to be decked out with custom installations by Graham Hudson, a London-based sculpture artist whose pieces investigate ideas relating to wellness culture and the body as a cultural, psychological and physical subject. With Hudson being a regular collaborator of Comme Des Garçons – creating work for the brand in New York, Tokyo and Beijing to name a few – his pieces are sure to be a seamless and welcome addition to the space, designed by CDG founder and DSM founder Rei Kawakubo herself.
Although the event is free, registration is required, so secure your place now by purchasing a ticket via the link.
