The nomadic nature of this house is what defines it. Since its inception Etro has taken well travelled inspirations and put them through a luxurious Italian prism. The result is a seductive multiverse of texture, pattern and signature paisley. This is the zenith of haute bohemian elegance. And so it was for AW 2020. The rich tapestry of looks included blanket coats, embroidered ponchos, embellished shearling, suede jodhpurs, patches and beaded denim, double-face cashmere co-ords. There was more tailoring than usual, but this is not a house for aggressive power suits. An inky velvet hot pant tuxedo suit is more the Etro vibe.
