Stefan Cooke: Ready-To-Wear SS24

The winner takes it all! After a season away from the catwalk, Stefan Cooke and Jake Burt made a triumphant return with a strong collection that riffed off sports regalia and summer signifiers by way of the pair’s clever design codes. Champion-like in their star-strewn V-neck jumpers with built-in sashes, shrunken jackets and three-quarter-length trousers, the Stefan Cooke troupe charged forward in a slew of clever and witty concoctions. Like tops with meaty shoulders that looked like they were made from foam finger fabric, and apricot and mint green-checkered picnic blankets, now littered with studs and transformed into ponchos and maxi skirts.

The real champ here, though, was the duo’s team-up with Mulberry. Re-working 27 of the British brand’s pre-loved bags, Cooke and Burt dressed-up each in a slew of their own insignias. Be it decorating leather with Christening-white bows, adding in their beloved button-made bag straps or even slicing and dicing bag exteriors to resemble one of Cooke’s staple cut-out argyle knits. Plenty to keep Cooke’s trusty fanbase satisfied and dressed to the nines.
