The Emporio Armani man moves with the quiet confidence of a someone who knows the power of his presence. For him, elegance is effortless, sophistication is second nature and stiffing his neck up with a silk tie feels innate rather than imposed. The AW25 menswear collection channelled this subtle, devil-may-care-attitude and suave style into every look, stitching together a beautifully tailored ode to seduction.
That meant silhouettes took cues from the past yet felt distinctly modern. Long, floor-scraping coats and plush stoles crafted from long-haired fabrics created an air of mystery, while structured blazers with pronounced lapels and soft, pleated high-waisted trousers struck a balance between strength and fluidity. The palette – tobacco, cognac, chocolate – evoked the dimly lit intimacy of a private lounge, where time slowed and charm reigned.
Elsewhere texture took centre stage. Brushed fabrics gleamed with rich, brocade-inspired patterns, animal prints made a subtle yet confident entrance and metallic-threaded pullovers shimmered under the low light. One of the best looks out was a sweeping shearling coat with an ironed finish that was worn over a tuxedo and with an Asian-inspired hat, introducing a daringly eclectic edge. Even the dinner jacket, in a deep ebony hue, transformed into a dapper full-length coat.
This was Armani at its most sensual: refined yet uninhibited, bold yet graceful. A wardrobe designed not just to dress a man, but to frame his essence.
