Surf’s Up! Dior Unveil Their Men’s Fall 2020 Campaign Featuring Kim Jones’ Collab with Shawn Stussy

Sun, sea and plenty of Shawn Stussy. The Dior Men’s Fall 2020 show during Miami Art Basel back in December was a fashion moment to remember. When it comes to getting the fashion pack hyped, Kim Jones is practically a pioneer at this point. Yet he particularly outdid himself when he brought Stussy out of retirement for an impeccable collection that merged Parisian elegance with a taste for the Miami shores. Now it’s time to surf the waves once more as the brand launches the collection’s campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel, models pose in front of a Stussy-designed backdrop which sees the Dior logo twisted into psychedelic pictorial waves. “This campaign captures the idea of Miami and the modern vision of Dior enhanced by Shawn’s graphic identity,” explains Jones.

The logo-heavy collection transports Dior to the 1980s American surf scene. Bursting with tropical hues, hand-scribbled graphics and splendid tailoring, the collection also showcases the highly sought after Dior x Air Jordan 1, as well as a transparent pair of jelly sandals – perfect for delayed summer celebrations. Whilst it’s highly unlikely any of us will be heading on a sun-kissed getaway in the upcoming months, this collection is destined to ride the waves and surf straight into your wardrobe. Cowabunga dude!
