Brunello Cucinelli: Ready-To-Wear AW26

Brunello Cucinelli presented a texture-driven collection for AW26, peppering pieces with tactile contrasts – shaggy knits, brushed tweeds, lace-like weaves and flashes of sequins that caught the light without overwhelming the look. Based around the conceptual idea of being like a book, where the clothes tell a story that unfolds gradually, each look felt like a continuation rather than a standalone moment.

Revealed as a lookbook – no pun intended –, the collection, called Pages From Landscapes, turned its attention to memory, nature and the quiet romance of the British countryside. Loose tailoring anchored the offering – slouchy pleated trousers, softened blazers and a fully silk-satin cream suit that embodied the house’s understated elegance. Elsewhere, texture did the heavy lifting: chunky floral-webbed knits, shaggy jumpers and faux fur gilets layered over wool midi skirts and oversized denim.

There was a sense of ease throughout. Cosy lace-knit hoodies were paired with matching trousers, while leather midi skirts came styled with opera gloves, adding polish without stiffness. Evening emerged subtly, through sequin-spangled wide-leg trousers and shimmer-dusted tuxedo pieces that blurred the line between formal and relaxed. It was refined, but never rigid – ready to take on any and every occasion.
