Dsquared2’s AW21 Collection is Fuelled by Youthful Rebellion

Dsquared2 has always been a label that’s flirted with youthful energy. Dean and Dan Caten know how to dress a party, and the brand’s AW21 collection lends its cues to an unshakable hedonism fuelled by the desire to get back out into the real world.

Released in the thick of international lockdowns in February, the designers were in a playful mood, pairing shimmery party dresses with cool denim and cracking outerwear that would look just as good at a forest rave as in everyday life. In their show notes, Dean and Dan called for “a collective rite of liberation,” and this collection is a true celebration of dressing up with the utmost exuberance.
