CHURCH’S: THE OLIVIA

London Fashion Week is upon us, and we felt it only right to point out that it’s a hard time for us fashion folk… Between being transported from show to show in the Team 10 BFC Mercedes there is a small distance of Soho pavement to be tackled. And, unlike our forever-heeled Editor-in-Chief, who is never seen without at least a 5 inch elevation, there are some ladies in the office that prefer to grace these tricky streets with their hooves considerably closer to the ground. Their recommendation for such times of pedestrian exertion is a traditional Church’s lace up. When we say traditional we mean a Derby shoe, in a beautiful leather. But as it’s Fashion Week we want classic and dazzling. The solution? The new Church’s Olivia. It’s two tone silver and white. It’s classic but it shines and makes our little magpie souls soar. We look at our feet and smile. Of course, non-members of the fashion industry can also benefit from the Olivia. She comes in particularly handy when popping out for a pint of milk for example. Or taking out the trash. Or going to the post box. Or getting the morning paper. For a brisk dog walk, even. My, in these shoes, you’ll use any excuse to get out the house.
