WATCH: Step Inside the Making of Thom Browne’s SS20 Collection

You’ve re-watched The Tiger King and polished off all nine seasons of Scrubs. Now what? If you’re looking for some fantastic fashion content to spruce up your excessive TV intake, Thom Browne’s got you covered. The designer has released a mini-documentary that gives behind-the-scenes access into the making of his namesake label’s SS20 womenswear collection. Dubbed Seersucker Season, the collection placed a particular focus on the fabric which already makes up for a large chunk of the brand’s DNA; alongside gorgeous grey hues and the mismatch of formal tailoring with pure fantasy.

“My first seersucker suit was when I was a kid,” said the designer in a statement. “My first summer suit my mother bought for me and my brothers. It was always part of my life, summer life. This is the uniform for everyone’s summer wardrobe.” The short film takes you from the collection being constructed, right up until the fairytale catwalk – with appearances from model extraordinaire Anna Cleveland and master milliner Stephen Jones. Prepare to be spellbound…
