Alas! The new It-bag of the season walks among us, with Dsquared2’s gorgeously gothic belt bag now available for purchase. Coated in the smutty grunge that populates the cult Italian brand’s DNA, the accessory first debuted on its rough and ready autumn/winter 23 runway. Designed by founders Dean and Dan Caten, the offering was praised for its unreserved maximalism and rock-inspired take on Americana.
The punky pouch’s main calling card is a buckled belt strapped around its body, emblazoned with a brazen, palladium-finished Dsquared2 logo. Set for swinging next to some hip-grazing jeans or a barely-there mini skirt, a black colourway sports a double strap – one leather and studded and one a detachable chain – whilst a white sits pretty with just the chain. Fit for any occasion and built to last with a 100 percent leather label, wear it slung over your shoulder or gripped under knuckles looped through the belt.
