D’ACCORI’S HEAVENLY HARRODS POP-UP

Girls just wanna’ have fun! And so does D’accori, the luxury British shoe brand commandeering Harrods’ Shoe Heaven with a pop-up this summer. Orbiting around a Saturn-like planet display at the centre of the retailer’s Egyptian hallways are the brand’s beloved styles from its PF24 collection including the Lust mules, Belle and Sienna platforms as worn by the likes of Beyoncé and Dua Lipa (the higher the heel the closer to heaven – literally). Shapeshifting into another world, D’acorri first flat collection is also featured alongside its iconic signatures – bringing the same London design and Florence craftsmanship of their brand’s blueprint to liquid gold slippers or sandals, metallic chameleon green ballet flats and a new iteration of the best-selling mule.

“Harrods is one of the most iconic department stores in the world and it feels like the perfect place to launch D’accori’s first pop-up in our hometown, London,” founder and creative director Mo D’accori is quoted as saying in the notes on the release. Step inside D’accori’s universe and be transported out of the mundane of everyday. Taryn Snyder

PALACE SKATEBOARDS’ PLUSH AW23 COLLECTION

With its AW23 collection, Palace Skateboards is rolling out a plethora of products arriving on the back of stacked, cooler-than collaborations.

Palace and Crocs join forces for a cosmic link-up of wave-marbled Mellow Clog models. Grab these kicks in brown and bone or celery colours. In a cross-country collab, Manchester’s Baracuta and London’s Palace Skateboards create a hybrid of the two companies’ timeless tastes. Spinning off of Baracuta’s G4 and G12 styles comes the new Gore-Tex waterproofs in bright blue and red.

The rest of the collection features extensive iterations of Palaces’ classics – something for each one of their followers. A label known for its wood, it couldn’t be Palace without a few rides to choose from; here, skateboards are painted with clown caricatures or open-mouthed monster faces. Elsewhere, apparel takes on a collegiate Americana attitude with hoodies featuring retro-font ‘Los Angeles’ graphics and basketball jerseys. Spice up your Palace collection with matching animal-print lawn chairs, pants and even button-down shirts. TS
