Zara and Rhuigi Villasenor redefine classic sportswear

Taking design cues from ’90s Americana, Rhude founder Rhuigi Villasenor and Zara have come together to launch its debut collaboration which redefines classic styles for a new generation. Titled RHU – short for Redesigning Human Uniform – the 57-piece collection takes us back in time through extra-baggy denim, college varsity jackets, upgraded outerwear and hypnotic graphics that don RHU emblems and lively hues. Slam Jam and Fila dig into the archives

Dubbed Redefined, Fila and Slam Jam have come together for a new capsule collection that digs into the archives in search of Fila’s most iconic styles, merging functionality and sport into innovative technical gear. The result is seven unisex garments fit for outdoor play, including co-branded tracksuits, running tops, training shorts, polos and accessories in a muted palette with added hits of red. Shop here.

Bettina Pittaluga takes over Saint Laurent Rive Droite

Another artist has stepped foot into Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles, this time around its French-Uruguayan artist Bettina Pittaluga who takes over the retailer’s walls. Showcasing global personalities through outstanding photography that speaks to everyday emotions, Anthony Vaccarello has selected 16 artworks to be displayed across both locations. Pittaluga’s work will also be featured in the third issue of the Saint Laurent’s arts and culture magazine Fanzine available in-store in limited quantities.

Louis Vuitton Presents Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh Exhibition

Louis Vuitton’s highly-anticipated Nike Air Force 1 collection designed by Virgil Abloh is finally set to release next month and the label is honouring his legacy with an exhibition presented at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in New York City. The showcase will take a deep dive into the creation of the footwear range, displaying all 47 pairs via physical and virtual means inside an immersive experience that hosts a dream-like setting featuring pastel decor and a sprouting treehouse. Samuel Ross and Hublot team up for a collaborative Big Bang Tourbillon watch

Continuing to champion talented creatives through its Hublot Loves Art initiative, Hublot has tapped on A-Cold-Wall designer Samuel Ross for his take on a limited-edition 44mm Big Bang Tourbillon watch. Celebrating the label’s 40th anniversary, the designer’s utilitarian aesthetic is communicated in the design through a sculpture-like titanium honeycomb mesh build, a rubber strap and a bright orange outer shell. Only 50 watches will be produced, paying tribute to the artistry of watchmaking and Samuel Ross’ distinctive design language.

Get naked with Koché

Honouring every twist and turn of the female form, Koché has launched the third edition of its Nude Campaign led by designer Christelle Kocher. Highlighting society’s unreal perception of the body, models grace the photographic stage in a dressed and nude manner, focusing on the beauty of the figures that dominate the frame and calling into question the portrayal of women today.

Chanel reopens 18 Place Vendôme boutique

Following a two-year renovation, Chanel’s iconic 18 Place Vendôme boutique in Paris has opened its doors to a reimagined three-story building that hosts a sleek construction within a 10,600sq. foot space. Step inside and you’ll find halls encrusted in precious gold accents, alongside lacquer panels, extravagant chandeliers and a variety of High Jewelry from Chanel’s Patrimoine collection. The rooms are enveloped in a delicate scent of rich amber and fine iris crafted by master perfumer Olivier Polge.
