At least, it’s never looked more in step with its readers — the industry that considers image its currency is finally acknowledging that beauty comes in all guises. When British style title 10 adds its latest issue to the pile this week, the landscape will get more beautiful still. Its cover girl is model Paloma Elsesser, a rising star who describes herself as “plus- size” and stands as a beacon of positivity for young men and women.
Londoner and 10 editor Sophia Neophitou is the first to give Elsesser her own UK cover. “Mainstream magazines are finally waking up to diversity.
