Zayn’s done his homework. He knows that Versus Versace is young, sexy, a little sporty, a little leather (very us) – so his very first capsule collection for the brand (SCREAM) is young, sexy, a little sporty, a little leather. Designer as a special capsule to sit alongside their usual offering and entitled ZAYN X VERSUS, involves the everyday, elevated – functional zip-up bomber jackets, parkas, plenty of ZXV branding and a whole lot of sportswear, from athletic bra tops to slick pique leggings.
“When I see this collection, I see Zayn. His attitude, his energy and his individuality are in every single piece. I am so proud of what we have achieved together. The campaign defines everything I love about the new generation today,” said Donatalla of the collaboration. Zayn himself called it “the coolest the ever” and how when he was growing up “wearing knock-off Versace” never thought he’s one day designing a collection for the house. A fashion fairytale!
