Fashion East Announces Its SS21 Line-Up, and it’s a Goodun

We’re not the only ones celebrating our big 20th birthday this year. For the past two decades, talent support network Fashion East has been responsible for launching the careers of some of the best designers to grace British shores – including everyone from JW Anderson and Kim Jones, to Martine Rose and Simone Rocha. Amidst a global pandemic, even though traditional catwalks are unable to go ahead, Fashion East has still managed to round up four young talents to support, this time, through film.

Set to take place this coming Sunday at 6:30 pm BST, Fashion East’s SS21 film presentation will be streamed through London Fashion Week’s digital platform. Fresh to this season’s roster is womenswear designer Maximilian Davis. The Trinidadian-British talent graduated from London College of Fashion back in 2017, and has previously trained under Grace Wales Bonner – another Fashion East grad – as a junior designer. Accompanying him from last season is futuristic menswear designer Goom Heo, the lingerie-inspired Nensi Dojaka and dancing sportswear star Saul Nash, who is set to have us busting a move or two (even if it’s from the settee).
