Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but for Louis Vuitton lovers, Vivienne is a certified life partner. The little character with the Monogram flower for a face first appeared in 2017 as a decorative object, a playful wink at the brands heritage, before making the leap into fine jewellery in 2020. Since then she has become something of a cult collectible, the kind of piece people intend to buy one of and somehow end up with five. Today, three new interpretations join the family, available as pendants and brooches, each with a personality all its own.
First up is the Vivienne Four-Leaf, for anyone who could use a little extra fortune. Then there’s the Vivienne Heart, the romantic of the group, made for gifting or for keeping for yourself. And finally the Vivienne Stars, which sparkles exactly as much as the name suggests and feels tailor-made for party season.
What ties them together is the craftsmanship. Each piece combines precious materials with colourful gemstones, finished with the craftsmanship Louis Vuitton is known for. The result is fine jewellery that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is precisely the point. Vivienne has always been a celebration of the brands creativity and sense of fun, and these new designs lean into both.
Wear one as a pendant layered over a crisp white shirt, or pin a brooch to a lapel, or the strap of your favourite bag for an unexpected flash of colour. Better still, start a collection. And if anyone’s still asking what you want for Christmas, consider this your hint to drop.
