Have you got one more dance in you? Summer is sadly creeping to a close, and we’ve spent the last two months in total bliss, dancing in dusty fields and drinking far too many Jubels, all to the finest selections from our fave DJs. If you’re looking for a final festival to send things off properly, there’s no better place than Body Movements.
The queer pleasure palace is back in Southwark Park for its biggest bank holiday party to-date, with only a handful of tickets remaining. Taking place this Sunday, across five stages, be prepared to be treated by one of the most impressive DJ line-ups of the year, where everyone from Eris Drew and Octo Octa, Byron Yeates, Sippin’ T, Sedef Adasi, Gideön and Bashkka will all be bringing serious heaters.
Closing out the Hot Mess stage is fab twosome Blasha & Allatt. The pair are co-founders of beloved Manchester party Meat Free and are residents at Fold’s Tech Couture party. Known for their fierce techno sets and an occasional dabble in all things house, expect their Body Movements debut to be one for the books.

1. Describe a Blasha & Allatt set in three words?
Energetic. Soulful. Dynamic!
2. When did you first begin playing together?
We’ve been playing together for 14 years now.
3. What do you admire most about each other’s DJing?
Tash: I like the way Steffi chops vocal acapellas in and out of the mix.
Steffi: Tash’s taste in music has always been on point.
4. What can we expect from your set at Body Movements?
Something to make you twerk.
5. Why are you excited to play the festival?
We love seeing a place that allows people to be 100% themselves.
6. What three essentials are in your festival bum bags?
Chewing gum, hand sanitiser & paracetamol.
7. What’s one track that’ll never leave your USB?
Assailants “Fracture 2”
8. What do you love about playing to a London crowd?
They dance hard!
9. If you were going to curate your own edition of Body Movements, who are three acts you’d have headlining?
