The 10 Best Things About The 2026 BRIT Awards

Harry, Olivia, Skepta, Raye, Noel. Britain’s best showed up over the weekend for the 2026 Brit Awards, which headed north to Manchester, marking the first time the awards show has left London since its inception in 1977. Team 10 travelled up in style on Belmond‘s British Pullman train alongside Warner Music Group and Vanguart to experience what might just be the best Brits yet. Here are our top 10 moments from the awards show.

1. Harry Styles opened the show in Chanel

The popstar gave the first performance of his Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally era, opening the show with his UK No. 1 single Aperture, wearing a custom Chanel by Matthieu Blazy suit and tie. He sang, he danced – a lot – and gave an insight into what his Together, Together world tour will feel like: less glitter jumpsuits and more sweaty, suited-up raves.

2. Rosalía and Björk did their best Berghain

Rosalía brought the theatrics and drama to the stage with her first-ever televised performance of Berghain. Arriving on the red carpet in swan-like Chanel by Matthieu Blazy, the Catalan singer changed into a heavenly-white McQueen dress to perform her gothic-pop, operatic anthem, taking the Brits to a new level alongside collaborator Björk. The Icelandic singer made a rare appearance, wearing an electric blue Amit Aggarwal dress. We transcended.

3. Mark Ronson stole the show

Mark Ronson was given his flowers, receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music award, presented by Skepta. The producer, who wore custom Celine by Michael Rider, then played a set which included Ghostface Killah for a performance of Ooh Wee, spinning Amy Winehouse, and Dua Lipa making a dramatic descent from the ceiling on a giant disco ball to sing Dance the Night, before joining Ronson atop his piano on stage.

4. Olivia Dean domination

It was all about the art of loving Olivia Dean. The singer’s unstoppable reign continued, winning four awards including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Act and Song of the Year. The BRIT School alumni turned up on the red carpet in sunshine-yellow custom Loewe and wore Chanel to accept the awards.

5.  PinkPantheress made history

Although she wasn’t present at the awards, our favourite rising popstar was announced as the winner of this year’s Producer of the Year award. At 24 years old, the award marks PinkPantheress as the youngest ever recipient, and she’s the first woman to be presented with the honour. She’s just getting started.

6. Raye was pretty and powerful in Prada

Raye was on fire. The artist gave a performance of her hit Where is My Husband!, mixed expertly with the recently released Nightingale Lane, the second single from her upcoming album This Music May Contain Hope. Wearing a crystal-embellished black Prada gown, she sure gave us hope.

7. Noel Gallagher won the Songwriter of (the last 30) years award

The Oasis songwriter and singer was presented the Songwriter of the Year award by Bobby Gillespie. “I’ve got to thank my brother,” he began. “And Bonehead and Guigsy, Tony McCarroll, Alan White, Gem (Archer) and Andy (Bell), they brought those songs to life… Without them, I’d just be a singer-songwriter, and no one gives a sh*t about singer-songwriters. But more importantly, I’d like to thank you – the people who’ve kept those songs alive for the last 35 years.” Gallagher’s kids, Anaïs and Gene, repped the family’s affiliation with Adidas Originals, wearing head-to-toe three-stripes and Adidas Superstars. It’s in the DNA.

8. Newcomers Geese won their first Brit

Geese, the most interesting band on the post-punk scene right now, won the award for International Group of the Year, beating Tame Impala, Turnstile, Haim and Huntr/x. The Brooklyn group’s drummer, Max Bassin, was in Manchester to pick up the award from Cat Burns, and while his political speech was censored by ITV, the cheers from the crowd confirmed that we are all in on the rise of Geese.

9. We travelled in style

Alongside luxury watchmakers Vanguart, we travelled to and from Manchester on the art-deco legendary British Pullman train with Warner Music Group. As co-sponsors of the event, Vanguart’s chairman and co-founder Mehmet Koruturk expressed his admiration: “Great music and fine watchmaking are united by a shared foundation of discipline, creativity and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection. Our partnership with Warner Music at the Brit Awards reflects Vanguart’s commitment to honouring the exceptional talent shaping contemporary culture.” The experience made for ultimate BRIT magic to celebrate the UK’s biggest night in music with one of the most innovative, young watchmaking brands right now.

10. An Ozzy Osbourne tribute closed the show

The late singer and Black Sabbath frontman was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award, accepted by Sharon Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne. “I’m honoured to accept this award for my gorgeous husband, this lifetime achievement award,” she said. “God knows, I wish he was here to accept it himself.” The speech was followed by a tribute performance curated by Sharon, which featured a special arrangement of Black Sabbath’s No More Tears by family friend Robbie Williams, also joined on stage by musicians who have previously played as part of Ozzy’s band, including keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos and guitarist Zakk Wylde.
