The Looks

The 2025 Fashion Awards red carpet was a whirlwind of elegance, bold statements and dazzling artistry, as fashion’s brightest stars gathered in London for an unforgettable evening. From sleek minimalism to extravagant, high-concept gowns, the night showcased the dynamic creativity of both designers and celebrities.

Kicking things off in ethereal style, Lily Allen stepped out in a delicate blush Valentino gown by Pierpaolo Piccioli. The soft floral embroidery and flowing silhouette gave her an angelic presence, a perfect juxtaposition to her usual playful persona.

On the other end of the spectrum, Colman Domingo brought sharp sophistication in a tailored Burberry suit under Daniel Lee’s creative direction.

Alexa Chung, ever the embodiment of chic nonchalance, wore a vintage-inspired pleated gown from Chloé under the creative helm of Chemena Kamali. The delicate beadwork and soft, flowing fabric captured the essence of bohemian elegance, with Alexa exuding her signature understated yet captivating charm.

Paloma Elsesser, a former Model of the Year award winner, commanded attention in a sheer, polkadot Miu Miu dress. The daring transparency and intricate beadwork reflected her confidence, giving the gown an edgy sophistication that made Elsesser one of the night’s standout figures.

Adding a touch of architectural drama, Little Simz wore a striking teal twinset by Tolu Coker. Known for her experimental approach to fashion, Tolu’s creation blended geometric structure with fluidity, making Simz look every bit the fashion icon.

Meanwhile, Lila Moss was the picture of modern glamour in a sheer, layered, figure-hugging gown from 16Arlington. The design’s bold shimmer and clean lines created a look that was both high-octane and effortlessly chic, perfectly matching Lila’s youthful yet polished aesthetic.

In a contrast of soft and sculptural, Anok Yai wowed in a custom design by Dilara Findikoglu. The ivory gown, with its sculpted corset and cascading ruffles, had an almost fairytale quality, making Anok look like a high-fashion muse straight out of a dream. The soft palette and bold structure captured the designer’s avant-garde spirit while exuding an otherworldly elegance.

Cate Blanchett brought timeless elegance in a sleek, minimalist Givenchy gown designed by Sarah Burton. The sharp tailoring and clean lines created an impeccable silhouette that was as powerful as it was graceful. Also in Givenchy, Sienna Miller opted for a more ethereal approach, with a flowy white dress that played with volume and form. The loose structure gave Miller an air of modern sophistication, mixing smooth lines with pure femininity for a look that was effortlessly elegant.

Stepping out in a piece that screamed both power and heritage, Alex Consani chose a sharp Alexander McQueen creation by Sean McGirr. The dramatic black gown, complete with intricate corsetry and Union Jack-inspired detailing, brought together classic British elements with a modern, punk-inspired edge. Consani owned the look with confidence, making a powerful statement on the red carpet.

The ever-daring Ncuti Gatwa embraced Simone Rocha’s signature oversized tailoring with an all-black suit featuring ruffled details. The voluminous silhouette of the jacket, paired with delicate ruffles at the neck, created a playful yet dramatic contrast. Gatwa’s infectious charisma made the look feel effortlessly cool while still showing off the experimental edge of Rocha’s designs.

Bringing youthful energy and eclectic flair to the carpet, PinkPantheress wore a playful Chopova Lowena creation. The blend of bold patterns, textures, and layers felt like a perfect reflection of PinkPantheress’ personality – fresh, fun and full of life. It was the kind of unconventional, vibrant look that made you want to take notice.

Looking sleek and statuesque, Raye turned heads in a satin and crystal encrusted gown by Ferrari. The boat neck and floor-length silhouette created a streamlined, sophisticated look, while the subtle shine of the fabric gave her a glamorous, almost ethereal glow under the lights. Raye’s quiet confidence and the dress’s refined elegance made for one of the evening’s most memorable moments.

Rita Ora brought sultry elegance to the carpet in a figure-hugging black dress by Tom Ford, designed by Haider Ackermann. The sleek lines, metallic accents and bold cuts showcased Ora’s seductive energy, making her a true showstopper on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Iris Law embodied grace and refinement in a delicate lace number from Miu Miu. The soft, intricate details of the dress were balanced by a structured silhouette, capturing the youthful, whimsical spirit of the brand while maintaining an air of sophistication.

Bringing a touch of streetwear-inspired swagger to the evening, Skepta wore a bold, printed ensemble from his own brand, Mains. The dark, boxy coat and wide-leg trousers gave off a street-ready, relaxed vibe while still maintaining an undeniable air of high fashion.

Amelia Gray kept it minimalist in an ultra mini, slinky, bedazzled from Stella McCartney x H&M. The dress’ simple lines and eco-conscious design highlighted Amelia’s understated elegance while making a statement about the importance of thoughtful, ethical fashion choices.

With a bold, avant-garde edge, Ellie Goulding donned an oversized, sharp-cut creation by Willy Chavarria, with her baby bump on full view. The striking proportions and angular tailoring of the gown gave Goulding a futuristic, high-fashion look that contrasted perfectly with her naturally effortless style.

Joe Alwyn kept things classic and refined in a tailored Brunello Cucinelli suit. The understated elegance of the wool fabric and relaxed fit made Joe’s look effortless, sophisticated and effortlessly cool, proving that sometimes, less is more on the red carpet.

With her towering presence, Gwendoline Christie turned heads in a sculptural gown by Alexander McQueen, with huge hair to go with.

Finally, FKA Twigs captivated in a dreamy, intricate creation by Dilara Findikoglu. The delicate lace and mesh combined with vintage-inspired elements gave the gown an otherworldly feel, perfectly suited to FKA Twigs’ ethereal yet edgy presence.

If one thing’s for sure, this year’s Fashion Awards was a red carpet full of surprises, with every look – from avant-garde to classic elegance – proving that when it comes to style, the guests came to slay.

The Performers

The 2025 Fashion Awards were illuminated by two sensational performances that left the audience electrified. Raye kicked off the musical acts with a powerful live rendition of her viral hit Where Is My Husband! and Cry Me a River. Dressed in a glittering metallic Ferrari gown, Raye’s stage presence was undeniable, perfectly blending her soulful voice with the high-fashion atmosphere.

Tems followed with a mesmerising live performance of her new single Not Sure and a rendition of Me & U. Draped in a shimmering blue Stella McCartney x H&M gown, Tems captivated with her emotional vocal delivery, creating an intimate connection with the audience that marked a magical moment of the night.

As the evening unfolded, the crowd was left buzzing from the electric performances, with both Raye and Tems making a bold mark on the night’s celebrations. The performances were a perfect reflection of the diversity and creativity that defines the fashion industry, bringing music and fashion together in the most harmonious way.
