Introducing The British Fashion Council’s 2025 New Wave: Creatives

The Fashion Awards are fast approaching, which means a new wave of creatives are coming for the crown. Set for Monday December 1, 2025, at the Royal Albert Hall in London and presented by Pandora, the evening promises to be one of the most glittering nights on the fashion calendar full of memorable moments you won’t want to miss.

Today, the British Fashion Council unveils its 2025 New Wave: Creatives, which counts 50 outstanding movers and shakers across fashion. Made up of casting directors, photographers, art directors, hair and makeup artists, image makers, nail artists, set designers, stylists and cultural commentators, the list celebrates the most innovative and inspiring young creative talents from around the world.

Laura Weir, chief executive at the British Fashion Council says, “New Wave: Creatives capture the pulse of the current fashion landscape – bold ideas, diverse perspectives and boundary-breaking talent. These are the creatives reimagining what fashion can be in storytelling, image-making and culture. We can’t wait to honour them this December.”

The nominees were voted on by a panel featuring not only nominees from last year’s edition, but also some of fashion’s most respected voices including Anita Chhiba, founder of Diet Paratha, Edward Buchanan, art director, consultant and fashion director at Perfect, Isamaya Ffrench, make-up artist and beauty founder of Isamaya, Duran Lantink, fashion designer and creative director of Jean Paul Gaultier and Martine Rose, fashion designer and creative director of Martine Rose, amongst others.
