Robyn Lynch Releases C.P. Company Collab

At Robyn Lynch’s AW24 London Fashion Week show, a series of meticulous jackets bookended a vivacious outing marked by laser etched jeans, embroidered dancing skirts and hybrid technical tops. Having previously collaborated with Columbia and Rapha, the jackets were part of a new collaboration with C.P. Company which, as of this morning, has made its way onto the market.

The gorgeously unconventional offering encapsulates six one-off outerwear pieces upcycled using C.P. Company deadstock materials from the Italian sportswear giant’s past collections. Deconstructed and remade in the Irish designer’s London studio, Lynch amalgamated nylon shells with spliced-up layers of Aran knit, fastenings and hardware while C.P. Company’s emblematic googles received an update by incorporating Lynch’s bold logo. Arriving in rich shades of blue with slate grey, obsidian, chocolate and pure white, standouts include functional hooded zip-ups and crisp coats reimagined as fluid capes.

Riffing off of her continual exploration of nostalgia for her formative years spent coming-of-age in Ireland, the collection was largely inspired by Lynch’s younger sister, who’s a professional Irish dancer, and her competing uniform. The idea was to dip into the similarities between different types of performance wear, and the results were executed with striking precision.
