Finally, the date of what has become London’s hottest fashion party has been announced. Make space in your diaries, fashion fans, for Monday 4th December. On this super-chic night the great and the good (and a few not so good) will make their British-designer-clad way to the Royal Albert Hall for their chance to be part of an event to reward and celebrate British fashion around the world.
Following on from the success of fundraising efforts last year, in which The British Fashion Council raised a staggering £300,000 for their brilliant BFC Education Foundation, the charity has now teamed with Swarovski, as a partner, and they have generously pledged £300,000 to the Education Foundation in advance of the night itself. This is great news and a welcome contribution to a brilliant cause, namely, supporting and nurturing British fashion design talent.
