Ralph Lauren Reveal Their First Women’s Fragrance In Ten Years

JSxRL2

For their first female fragrance launch in almost a decade, Ralph Lauren (to sort of quote Shea Couleé) are not here to play, they are here to slay – drafting in H’Wood heavyweight-slash-bombshell Jessica Chastain to front the campaign for the scent, entitled Woman. And, according the blurb, they are approaching femininity in a whole new way. Ouuu. “We’re living in a time where femininity and masculinity are being redefined. It used to be that feminine meant only to be soft and kind, but now we understand that being feminine also can mean being successful and being ambitious,” said Ms Chastain to WWD. “Femininity is whatever a person defines for themselves. It’s moved away from this old-fashioned notion of what a woman is.” And, in keeping, the bottle is masculine in design, based on the shape of a flask. Sadly, you will have to wait until Fall 2018 to get your hands on the actual fragrance but at least we have the gorge Jessy Chastain, behind-the-scenes on the campaign, to admire while we wait.
