Call us cliche, but being members of the luxury fashion elite, it’s no secret that we at 10 enjoy the finer things in life. And rather conveniently for us, Mr. Zanotti has created a collection of footwear that is perfectly in keeping with our lifestyle of diamond rings, fast cars and Cristal. Never one to disappoint on the ultra-glam front, we’ve been especially treated by the designer this season, with an offering of shoes that are literally dripping in crystals. High shine metallic finishes, silk edge details and a new mule design featuring a sculptured stiletto heel – here we have the epitome of refined elegance. Perhaps the most impressive of them all is the butterfly sandal, which is, as you might have guessed, is bedazzled with glittering butterflies. We’re often faced with the challenge of working out which part of our bodies we can embellish with expensive and shiny objects next, and thanks to Giuseppe, now we know. It’s all about a shimmering ankle this season, you see. Resident designer shoe hoarder Natalie explains that crystals, depending on their size, can give even the most unsightly cankle the glimmering definition it may or may not deserve, helping to support the illusion of a possessor most fine-boned.
