We like to think that we know a little bit about making a magazine. We are in the biz, after all. But we’re not mean girls. We’ll always throw open our arms to a new title – spesh when it’s helmed by somebody as lovely and talented as our pal Nicola Formichetti. According to Diesel, “this is for the smart rebels amongst us. Curated to convey our way of thinking and seeing the world we live in. It’s about Style. Culture. And so much more.” Oooh. And what’s more of a hot topic for Issue 1 than gender? We’re still obsessed. We no longer know if we’re a him / her / something in between. Ten Towers has long been a state of quivering genderless confusion. So lead on Diesel, show us the way – in their words, “society is learning that who we are and who we fancy can only ever be interpreted individually.” Yaaas.
