Whack on some Kraftwerk, don a leather lederhosen and stuff some sauerkraut down your neck – it’s off to Berlin for Givenchy’s latest fash film – the German city providing the austere backdrop for Mr Tisci’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection. The gang’s all here – Irina Shayk, Deion Smith, Leila Goldkuhl, Kris Gottschalk, John Kolic – their lovely bods showing off Givenchy’s urban meets underwear offerings – trailing negligees and slouchy bombers, silky PJs, fur coats, topstitched denims. Some studs thrown in. The vid itself, filmed by Matt Lambert, is one of those “edgy” numbers – yanno, grainy camera shots, empty U-Bahn stations, pumping electronica soundtrack. That kind of thing. Enough to make us go take mind altering substances and end strung up somewhere in an underground sex club. Or something. I’ll probably just end up eating pizza and watching Take Me Out.
