Gucci: SS16 Campaign Video

You’ve seen Gucci’s dreamy Spring/Summer 16 campaign (you know, the one with the stuffed peacock), now watch it come to life. Filmed in Berlin by Glen Luchford, place of sausage and rave, the video “takes inspiration from the visual language and aesthetic of German ‘80s pop culture – the urban setting of this artistic and brutalist city – from rooftops to warehouse clubs – provides a raw backdrop to a carefree and hedonistic tale.” We’d agree with that. It seems pretty carefree – lots of young attractive people cavorting about the city, ending up on a handily placed rooftop where they point at all the lovely sites that Berlin has to offer. A bit like one of those tourist board videos. Except like better filmed, better dressed and with a more aesthetically blessed cast. Just better, really. So visit Berlin. And watch above. Fall into a Monday afternoon fashion trance.
