Zlatan Ibrahimović is back at Dsquared2. With a second capsule collection alongside Dean and Dan Caten dubbed Black on Black, the garms on offer are just as the title suggests – black as can be.
The collection embodies the Swedish football Champion’s particularly stylish panache and his jocular personality, Dsquared2 is setting the mood for AW22.
From evening wear, to day pieces, sporty sets, and accessories, each layered garment gets the same tone-on-tone treatment. Double-breasted felted wool coats, wool biker pants and merino knits are accentuated by black and white vinyl printed and embroidered motifs; Dsquared2 logos, specially designed hangtags, the A.C. Milan striker’s nickname “Ibra” and his initials. An array of tuxedos, button-up shirts, leather biker jackets and bombers printed with “Ibra” come joined by pleated pants or relaxed shorts, hoodies and joggers, chunky boots and classic baseball caps. Plus, some outerwear pieces glitter unexpectedly with black crystals bringing gilded glamour into sports, while alternatively, Dean and Dan Caten’s Old Western influences come through in vaqueros and dark wash denim.
