Muchos ponchos, says Garth. But I think he’s actually been somewhat blinded by the nice poncho in Look 1 of this brand new collection by Woolrich, because, as far as I can see, it is the only one. But who needs another? Because this one, as the notes tell me, comes in camou. Camou, says Google, and as you can probably tell, means camouflage. But it’s a better way of saying it. Like shortening fabulous to fabu. And this camouflage isn’t some harsh military tone that one would where whilst like, shooting a gun, but soft camouflage. “A soft key,” as the notes say, “sophisticated green tones together with shades of grey and intense oranges and indigos in a mix and match of contemporary femininity.” It’s a bit outdoorsy this. Fishing was another inspiration. Kind of like a nice country walk of a Sunday. Loose checkered shirts, trench-coat inspired outerwear, a nice line in brimmed hats. There is even a bike (look 8). It’s a collaboration with Australian bike brand Deus. Garth rides a bike too. His bike fashions have included shorts so high up the shy that a passer by actually shouted for him to “put it away.” thankfully this look is a little more modest and has both legs and sleeves covered. We are encouraging him to adopt this look immediately.
