Gucci Releases Its First Fragrance Made Using 100 Percent Recycled Carbon Emissions

As spring unfurls before us, a blossoming bouquet by Gucci awakens new life with its latest Eau de Parfum. Named Where My Heart Beats, the fragrance is part of The Alchemist’s Garden collection blended by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, a customisable collection of fragrances, perfumed oils and acque profumate (scented waters) inspired by the art of ancient alchemy. Expressing both levity and power, captured in a floral rose character, whispers of peony emerge through a chorus of white peony accord, soft violet leaves accord and delicious white musk, layer by lovely layer.

With a fluttering butterfly stamped onto its lacquered white glass flacon bottle, it’s the first Gucci fragrance to be manufactured using alcohol made from 100 percent recycled carbon emissions in collaboration with Coty, the first company to introduce carbon-captured ethanol into fine fragrances for global distribution. If dreams had a scent, it’d be Where My Heart Beats
