In breaking news: the queen of everything Victoria Beckham just announced her eponymous brand is expanding into the world of beauty. And after her make-up collab with Estée Lauder completely selling out back in 2017, this decisions makes total sense and is basically all of our dreams come to life. Who else would we trust with providing us with the tools to look perfect than the Vicky B. With 25 years in the public eye, this woman knows what looks good and what doesn’t. She’s tried every hairstyle in the books, and even invented a few new ones too. Remember that asymmetrical bob? A decade later, its legacy still lives on – mainly on German holiday goers in their mid-50s, but it still does.
“I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skincare, fragrance and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,” Beckham tells of her new venture which will be launching as part of her AW19 collection, which will be shown this Sunday, February 17th at 10am. The CEO and co-founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty is Sarah Creal, whose previous experience includes working with Prada, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics as well as working on the VB collab with Estée Lauder. “Victoria has an innate love of beauty that started when she was very young, and has continued unabated,” Creal says. “This authenticity is going to infuse the entire business strategy, and because everything will be directly overseen by Victoria, the line will be elevated and impeccably curated.”
And here we are, revisiting this incredible beauty evolution – all the way from the Spice Girls days to last year’s Royal Wedding. With a few exceptions, a signature look instantly comes to the foreground – a strong smokey eye with dewy skin and a nude glossy lip. The fact that this make-up combo has been Vicky’s go to for all these years is just a testament to her well-balanced life. Hair changes, but make-up stays the same… All hail Queen VB!
