“It’s time to enter the next phase of the Versus experience”. Or so the voiceover boomed in what I would like to describe as sexy sounding Prince voice over fashion. You know that husky, ever so slightly breathless with excitement prolonged interlude thing he did? Well this was that. And what is the next phase of the Versus experience? Rhythm Nation. Well there’s nothing like a bit of Janet to show who’s in charge and Versus was most definitely in charge. This was tough. And fast paced. Black and ever so slightly louche leathers, demin shredded and frayed, khaki in the guise of strong silhouetted armour, armour being a loose term for a strongly defined shoulder and cinched waist, and a nice smattering of sportswear silhouettes to reinforce the kick assness of the whole thing. But then Donatella is the ulitimate kick ass bitch, so would you expect anything less?
