Ground control to Donatella: we have Versace lift-off! From lights-alive jogging gear through spacesuit-meets-tracksuit daywear and chic sherberty tailoring, it was an ode to the intergalactic. Donatella was thinking of the future, of the future for the Versace ma and for the house as a whole. Out of all the designers in Milan, she’s the one most interested in that. Hence the fibre optics embedded in fabrics, but also everyday tech like intricate taped Sean’s, silvered leathers, stretch fabrics used to create streamlined, body-delineating daywear.
