Trainers, Tom Ford-ified. But what does it mean for something to be Tom Ford-ified? It means ‘to be made luxurious’. Hence these trainers, which are available in premium leather and velvet. The idea of trainers made out of velvet is very louche. The sort of thing an off-duty (and very suave) banker might wear to a late night game of poker – glass of vintage whiskey in one hand, fine Cuban cigar in the other.
