Thom Browne: Menswear SS18

The handsome Mr Browne served up half-man, half-queen realness this evening at his #SS18 menswear show. Referring, ofc, to that final exit, whereby our gentleman model was groom up front, bride down back. I mean, trust in Thom to give us some theatrics which have, on the whole, been severely missed this PFW. Just saying. But onwards to the rest of the collection – the man-woman thing went on throughout – the Thom Browne uniform (you know – grey, naughtily short shirts, shrunken blazer, white shirt, tie, knee-high sock) was worn here with a heel.

All the looks were. See above. His signature tailoring ran throughout too, combined this season with clothing that one might typically link to a woman – namely skirts and dresses – either long, like untucked shirts, or short and pleated. But you know what? It all looked good. And actually not that mad. Because beyond the theatrics, Mr Browne is just very very good at making clothes. Well done him.
