When you think of Rome a lot might spring to mind: the ruins of the Colosseum, the Vatican, or maybe even Audrey Hepburn on a Vespa. Not to mention the shopping, food and apéritifs. A city bursting with culture that also marks the birthplace of one of Ten’s favourites – Fendi. We love it when a brand cites its heritage and the Roma bag does just that. Going back to Fendi’s roots, the messenger bag is made from buttery-soft pebbled leather, which is exactly where it all began. Its compact, minimal design is finished with a coordinating woven canvas strap, hand-stitched seams and a trio of the signature metal bars above the subtly embossed logo. LU-XU-RY.
Roma made its first appearance in the Pre-fall 2018 collection in a limited edition of colour ways and comes in a classic black or a sciccoso taupe. Alternatively you can take your pick from the Neapolitan gelato tones: dusty strawberry, muted chocolate brown and creamy vanilla. As if you don’t need any more persuading, you can wear cross-body, slung over your shoulder or even clutched like a document holder. Handy!
