The Diesel Black Gold Type-2614s are 50% longer than the average pair of jeans, apparently. Obviously here are Ten Towers we are very much a ‘yes’ when it comes anything with a bit more length. Who doesn’t enjoy something nice and long wrapped around them? The longer the better has always been a personal motto. So what does this extra 50% actually do when it comes to a jean? Well, it means that they kind of ruche and wrinkle – “perfectly combining a slim fit with a 3-D effect”. A bit like a nice big scrunchie gathered around your legs. In the best possible way. Comfy. “I created Type-2614 with the idea of adding texture to a long lean silhouette,” says Melbostad. “By cutting the jeans extra-long and then crushing them, we gave new dimension and movement to the leg.” The jeans are shown here on the legs of musician twins Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, their “poses infused with a captivating sense of movement, enhancing the comfortable appeal of the denim.” Lovely.
