Feng Chen Wang’s New Season Collection
Feng Chen Wang’s AW25 collection breathes life into ancient mythology. Drawing from Chinese artistry, Wang channels the fantastical spirit of Shan Hai Jing, transforming mythical creatures into handcrafted Jingdezhen ceramics. Traditional designs are reimagined as prints on raw denim and organic fabrics and bonded neoprene mimics wool, reinforcing structure while preserving fluidity in tailored silhouettes. Hand-painted textiles pay homage to ink wash aesthetics, while her exclusive UGG Tasman Lug shoe is elevated into a wearable sculpture. Like the legends that inspired it, this collection is boundless, both timeless and visionary. SL

Ulysse Nardin & Amoureuxpeintre
Seamlessly fusing Ulysse Nardin’s horological expertise with the distinct aesthetic of Kyrgyz designer Vsevolod Sever Cherepanov, known as Amoureuxpeintre, Blast [Amoureuxpeintre] is a sleek timepiece that shatters conventions. This exclusive, 29-piece limited edition embraces minimalism, sharp geometry and hidden meaning. Inspired by frosted glass panes, the watch subtly distorts perception, encouraging deeper reflection. Its mechanism is revealed only through a translucent caseback, reinforcing the idea that meaning lies beneath the surface. “Hidden meanings are all around us – you just need to look closer to engage and understand how things truly work,” says Amoureuxpeintre. Rooted in disruption, Blast [Amoureuxpeintre] follows Ulysse Nardin’s tradition of breaking watchmaking norms – where simplicity unveils complexity, and design challenges the way we perceive time itself. Alexander James’ New Short Film, ‘Smile’
London-based painter Alexander James presents Smile, a poignant short film capturing a real-time phone call with his grandfather, Gerry Kaye. “Most of his tales were about family, people I never met but somehow felt I knew,” says James. “He’d speak of his father, a stern man with hands hardened by work, who built a life out of sheer willpower. Or his mother, gentle but strong, who’d offer quiet wisdom with every action, showing more than telling. Through these stories, they were lessons in disguise, wrapped in humour and nostalgia, but they shaped me.” Set in James’s studio, the film explores family bonds and shared history, with Kaye’s vivid post-WWII tales inspiring James’s artistic practice. Collaborating with photographers Robin Hunter Blake and Laurence Hills, Smile weaves memory, art, and storytelling into a deeply personal reflection. EP
