Frank Ocean’s Homer Sets Up Shop in London and LA
From cock rings (yes, you read that right) to 18kt bracelets, Frank Ocean’s luxury label Homer has managed to remain on the tip of everyone’s tongue since it launched back in August 2021. Now, following a brief hiatus, it’s returning with two new flagship shops and a fresh collection. Called Frankenstein-Cord and created in collaboration with the critically acclaimed New York-based artist Kieselstein-Cord, the primary high jewellery collection includes necklaces, rings and earrings all in 18kt white gold. Homer is also releasing Sodium and Beef Broccoli Life, two comprehensive jewellery collections coming in candy colourways.
For its first shop, Homer will settle into London’s prestigious jewellery district, Hatton Garden, marking not only its debut in the UK but also its first international location. This opening will be followed closely by the brand’s second store in downtown Los Angeles, with both spaces launched in partnership with Abel Nile New York. Together, they will exclusively showcase the complete collection of newly released jewellery, while online availability remains intentionally limited. Tommy Dowling
Feng Chen Wang’s SS26 Love Story
Feng Chen Wang told a love story in Paris – a poetic ode to nature for SS26 – as she marked 10 years of the brand, boldly embracing a future of fearless experimentation and emotional resonance. The collection featured 39 looks created in collaboration with skilled artisans, blending contemporary tailoring with delicate florals through her innovative botanical dyeing technique, which uses heat-pressed fresh leaves. Flowing trench coats with sculptural shoulders, sheer dresses layered over deconstructed suits and trousers brushed with ethereal leaf imprints beautifully balanced structure and softness, evoking a tender, romantic dialogue with the natural world. Miu Miu’s Summer Book Club Is Back
This summer, Miu Miu is hosting the chicest book club under the sun, transforming leafy city parks in Beijing, Hong Kong, Milan, Osaka and Paris into literary salons al fresco. As part of Miu Miu Summer Reads, bespoke pavilions in signature shades – powder blue, butter yellow, dusty rose and soft lilac – each stamped with an ex-libris symbol, invite visitors to linger with exclusive editions of Simone de Beauvoir’s The Inseparable and Fumiko Enchi’s The Waiting Years. It’s a meditative study of stillness in style: deckchairs, dappled light and feminist fiction reimagined through a Miu Miu lens. A little intellectual and a little idyllic, it’s reading season at its most fashionable. Talia Panayi
The Valentino Garavani Viva Superstar Bag
Conceived by Alessandro Michele, Valentino Garavani‘s Viva Superstar bag is hitting the streets… and it looks so fabulous while doing it that it’s dodging paparazzi. For its latest campaign, shot by Drew Vickers, the house conjures a faceless figure slipping through an unnamed city in black and white: a woman in motion, blurred by wind, mystery and celebrity persona. Her face hidden – letting the oversized classic VLogo bag steal every bit of the spotlight.
This latest chapter in Valentino’s campaign trilogy for its signature bags unveils shapeshifting silhouettes: a chain-strapped camera case and a belt bag worn every which way. The palette is rockstar-rich – blood red and black, buttercream and brown – while three raffia crochet totes bring a softer strut to the all-star line-up. This is a rock-studded Valentino campaign, crafted especially for those who like their bags to be famously unforgettable. Shop here. TP

John Alexander Skelton Takes On A Laissez Faire Attitude In His CXIX Collection
For his CXIX collection, designer John Alexander Skelton recreates fuzzy memories of family photos with aid from a friend’s gifted cloth.
With this collection, it becomes clear that the designer’s personal wardrobe preferences have well and truly seeped into the foundations of his brand. With a cultural rise in dressing for comfort, Skelton instead professes a new-found need to dress more formally, explaining that the esoteric aspect entices him and almost feels rebellious.
Starting with only that aforementioned piece of cloth – a variation on a morning stripe – the collection unspooled, taking inspiration from Skelton’s grandfather’s “laissez faire” attitude when it came to dressing, and from memories of images captured on a family trip to Ireland in the mid ’90s, wherein Skelton’s grandparents are pictured, joyous and singing outside pubs in tailored suits.
Encapsulating these memories, the CXIX collection features pinstripe suits, linen shirts printed and embroidered with delicate flowers and an abundance of large, black buttons. Modelled in a lookbook by an eclectic bunch of characters candidly posing outside of pubs, on hillsides or beside lakes in Ireland, the folksy feel of the offering is palpable. Katie Poppy Minto
Ludovic de Saint Sernin Relaunches His Steamy Swimwear Line
This summer, Ludovic de Saint Sernin is turning up the heat – quite literally – with the sizzling relaunch of the brand’s swimwear line, serving SS25 looks that are every bit as intimate as they are intentional. Think the signature eyelet-studded swim briefs and thongs you’ve been lusting after, now joined by glistening new swim shorts peppered with those unmistakable grommet lozenges. And where better to flaunt these barely-there beauties than Fire Island? The historically queer playground plays host once again, as lens wizard Stuart Winecoff captures sun-kissed torsos, sweat-slicked abs, and hands tugging at waistbands in a fever dream of longing glances and poetic flesh.
But it’s not just eye candy for your feed. As a love letter to queer culture, the brand is teaming up with the Fire Island-based Queer Culture Arts Foundation – a non-profit championing the rich tapestry of LGBTQIA+ art and history – to stage a deliciously exclusive pop-up at the foundation’s Visitors Centre. Nestled among works by trailblazing queer artists, de Saint Sernin’s latest will be yours to covet (and maybe snag) all summer long. Pack your sun cream – things are about to get steamy. KPM
