Studio Nicholson and Échapper Reimagine Quiet Luxury

Kyoto-based fash fans have something exciting on the horizon, with the special announcement of a new Studio Nicholson store now open in the city. To celebrate, the fabric-first brand is teaming up with Japanese textile experts Échapper to serve up a botanically-dyed capsule collection, available in store in Kyoto, London and Tokyo. Inspired by the slower pace of domestic rituals, the limited four-piece collection is crafted from silk, goat leather and linen cotton. The dyeing process looks to Japanese logwood, a naturally raw material, refashioning signature Nicholson silhouettes. The navy Karst shirt and Hera pant, for example, are dyed, with their silk threads preserved to give a barely-there texture. Linen gowns and house shoes are also included in the drop, inspired by Studio Nicholson’s creative director Nick Wakeman’s trips to Japan. It’s luxury made simple. Take a closer look here

Tiffany & Co Goes Full Hollywood Glamour With New Campaign

It’s award season once more, and that means one thing – glitz, glamour and diamonds. Tiffany & Co is putting its own stamp on this by unveiling its latest campaign starring Global House Ambassador Natalie Portman at the 98th Academy Awards. Kicking off with a Audrey Hepburn-esque Breakfast at Tiffany’s  scene, the campaign is also aptly scored by perhaps the most famous track from Hepburn’s discography, Moon River and celebrates Tiffany’s legacy of helping colour some of the world’s greatest love stories since 1837. Directed by Oscar-nominated directors Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet, Portman is dripped out in some of the house’s most recognisable collections. Now, that’s a movie star. Discover more here.

Zegna Leans Into The Art Of Mime

To tie or not to tie? Zegna serves up a short comedy film inspired by silent 1920s flicks, parodying a canon event struggling to tie a bow tie. Starring Oscar-nominated actor Stellan Skarsgård, the release, directed by Zachery Tavel, depicts the actor preparing himself for the ceremony in his hotel room. Dressed in the Italian house’s 2026 Red Carpet Collection – a black peak-lapel wool tux, wide-legged trousers and a white poplin button shirt – Skarsgård fixes himself up whilst momentarily spritzing himself with Zegna’s Il Calamaio fragrance. Upon calling for assistance when unable to tie the knot, two mimes appear at the door, nodding to Federico Fellini’s 1954 La Strada film. Tapping into Skarsgård’s dry, humorous acting style, the film possesses a quiet charm that can’t help but make you let out a little giggle.
