Stay In The Loop With Wales Bonner And John Smedley’s Latest Knitwear Capsule

Uniting the knitwear savants at John Smedley with beloved British designer Grace Wales Bonner, the new limited-edition Made in England collection marks yet another meeting of minds. Rooted in heritage but poised for the modern-day wearer, this collaborative capsule features enticing fine-gauge cotton and merino knit polo shirts in bark, ivory and jewel tones.

Of course, it’s not the first time John Smedley and Wales Bonner have crossed paths, though  – they joined forces to craft Lewis Hamilton’s bespoke look for last year’s Met Gala – and Bonner has since delved into the renowned manufacturer’s 240-year-strong archive, pulling many of its mid-20th century designs and distilling them into Made in England. This particular partnership first debuted at the Wales Bonner SS26 show during Paris Fashion Week, then took place of prominence in its AW26 lookbook. Modern-day designing genius meets archival artistry? You won’t want to miss this. Shop here. Ella O’Gorman

Guess Jeans And Its Crew Of LA Influencers Take On Hollywood

Idk… Guess. No seriously. Do you really know? – what you want, that is. It’s okay if you’re confused, but don’t waste your time playing guessing games. Or – do… Idk.

The It-influencers of LA understood the assignment for the new Guess Jeans Idk… Guess campaign, taking to Instagram to confess their neither-here-nor-there nonchalance. Except they’re here, there and everywhere, on billboards in the City of Angels overlooking motorways framed within the background of a post. It’s all a bit meta…idk.

Creative director Nicolai Marciano uses the soft grain of the iPhone 5c to exhibit the candidly curated influencer-verse, inevitably with Amelia Gray, Lexee Smith Star, Emmah Holterhoff and other hot city girls all dressed in Guess Jeans. Plus, there’s a 3,000 square foot Guess Jeans store opening tomorrow in West Hollywood, and it’ll be the first-ever in the USA. R u keeping up? Want to exude understated coolness too? Well, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Looks like you’re going to have to wear some Guess Jeans. Probably… idk. Fi Munday

Church’s Brings Its AW26 Collection To Milan’s Palazzo Barozzi

For the expert English shoemakers at Church’s, the decision to showcase their latest creations in Palazzo Barozzi just made sense. For a collection steeped in musical influences, the space, which boasts world-renowned acoustics, was made for the sound of tapping feet. On January 18, during Milan Men’s Fashion Week, it welcomed master cobblers, celebrities and footwear connoisseurs, with actors Sebastian Croft, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Daryl McCormack leading the well-heeled pack.

Music curated by experimental musician Ruggero Pietromarchi and performed by Renato Grieco, ,Agnese Menguzzato and Riccardo La Foresta resounded as classical string instruments were propped up alongside equally classical, polished pairs of sandals, boots and brogues. Our takeaway? We think symphonies and shoemaking make for a winning combination. EO’G

Max Mara’s Art Prize For Women Sets Its Sights Overseas

After twenty years and 10 editions of the prestigious biennial Art Prize For Women award, Max Mara and its founder’s art establishment, Collezione Maramotti, is going intercontinental. Spearheaded by Cecilia Alemani, director and chief curator of High Line Art in New York, all future editions will now take place in a different country, with the support of each region’s art institution. Crucially, the revised format will continue to systematically and structurally support the work of emerging and mid-career female-identifying artists, bolstered by this new, nomadic and wide-reaching geographic scope.

The 10th phase of the prize (2025-2027) will – for the very first time – take to Jakarta and partner with Museum MACAN, Indonesia’s first museum of contemporary art. However, with the excitement of expanding their international impact and pool of partners, Max Mara bids a bittersweet ciao to the prize’s successful two-decade-long partnership with London’s very own Whitechapel Gallery. What will the next twenty years will bring? Keep your eyes peeled. EO’G

Inside Fashion Week’s Hottest Watch Party, Hosted By Lyas And Technology Giant, Nothing

Few events could crown the success of Lyas’s hotly anticipated La Watchparty. In the most recent iteration of the French content creators’ live fashion show screenings, Jonathan Anderson’s debut Dior Couture show was the main attraction. Congregating at the storied Pathé Palace in Paris, hordes of feverish fans gazed up at a gleaming cinema screen and reacted to the couture collection unravelling in real time. Taking the night up another notch, a DJ set followed, which celebrated the “intersection of high-fashion, sound and culture”. Nothing joined the event as its official sound partner, contributing to its camaraderie by gifting 1,000 limited edition T-shirts and offering onlookers the opportunity to win a pair of its signature noise-cancelling headphones. A lesson in taking the party outside, we’re getting major FOMO looking at La Watchparty’s antics. EO’G

Nicholas Daley’s Rebel Riot

Nicholas Daley looks to seminal black punk band Bad Brains for AW26, framing his collection, dubbed Rebel Riot, as a sharp, grounded study of punk, reggae and craft. Referencing the outfits’s late-’70s Washington DC impact and their PMA ethos, the collection translates hardcore’s DIY spirit into heavyweight knitwear, workwear and elevated sportswear. Key pieces include the oversized Hibiscus Cardigan, a reworked Harrington with Rastafari detailing and a refreshed Warm Up Jacket in corduroy. Textural Japanese cottons, Portuguese merino and deadstock military blankets anchor the range, while reggae-club graphics and utilitarian trousers reinforce Daley’s refusal to sit neatly within one genre. Sienna Spiro Stars In Fendi’s Way Bag Campaign

First introduced on Fendi’s SS26 catwalk, the Way bag makes a strong case as the newest everyday It-bag. But don’t take it from us, take it from Sienna Spiro, who clutches the capacious hobo-style silhouette in a series of promotional episodes for the Roman house, directed by Ganna Bogdan. Here, the trapezoidal leather handbag accompanies Spiro in a songwriting session, before being stylishly slung over her shoulder as she leaves the studio, with ample room to contain her everyday essentials. Feeling lost while seeking some new arm candy? Fendi will show you the way. EO’G

Moncler goes off-piste for their AW26 show

Staged on the pearly white powder of Aspen, Colorado, Moncler’s autumn/winter 2026 show was a snow-trekker’s paradise. Last Sunday, as night fell in the Rocky Mountains, models emerged out of the towering alpine trees and trudged through an expanse of snow. Led by Gigi Hadid, they wore the latest Moncler Grenoble ensembles – where western motifs meet urban skiwear.

With a collection inspired by an unwavering passion for the great outdoors, mountain heritage of the past is reframed and imbued with future purpose. Plush, heat-retaining outerwear is distinguished by threads of long-haired shearling, jacquard and mouliné, layered over natural wools and cotton underneath.

A particularly memorable, tender touch to the show was then realised through a hand-drawn map of Aspen, which unfurled via foulards, ski-jacket intarsia and large enveloping blankets. The show also introduced the newest addition to the Moncler Grenoble legacy, quilted sleeping bags, purposefully made to combat life in the peaks.

Coinciding with the Italian luxury label’s first American flagship opening in Aspen, the new drop is geared towards top-class athletes and winter sport enthusiasts alike, reconciling technical, protective equipment with high-performance ski and snowboarding attire. Guests left the glade with their imaginations coloured khaki – with the show’s colour scheme centred around a flurry of khaki fringed and textured tweed jackets, khaki insulated loden pants and khaki rimmed goggles.

So prepare to paint the slopes khaki on your next Alpine adventure – modelling on the mogul mounds is entirely optional. EO’G
