With the menswear season now behind us, the couture shows kick off this Sunday with Pieter Mulier’s debut for Alaïa. To get you in the mood, here’s what else is going on in fashion land.

Burberry’s Olympia rides the Thames

Bet you wish you’d seen this? Last weekend, Burberry sent a giant version of its Olympia bag across the River Thames, beginning its journey at the Royal Victoria docks and moving through The Old Royal Naval College, Tower Bridge and Marc Brown City Hall. London’s not the only location graced by this spectacle, oh no.  Another giant Olympia is floating through Dubai as we speak, and will be until July 10.

Rahemur Rahman is back

British-Bangladeshi talent Rahemur Rahman returns with his third collection, ‘Children of the Rag Trade’. The sustainable designer is moving his brand into a genderless direction, continuing his work with artisanal textiles made by Aranya craftspeople in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He says the collection is “an embodiment of everything that I hold close and dear”.

Go golfing with Boss

Boss has a long history when it comes to Golf wear, from dressing some of the best golfers out there, to sponsoring the PGA tournament. Though for the brand’s new athleisure collection, though, Boss is switching things up – with loose silhouettes in water-repellent fabrics making for a fine uniform for the contemporary golfer. Chanel turns Electro

Perfect for the club, Chanel’s new capsule collection of watches borrows from Electro culture. All of the house’s most iconic timepieces – J12, Première, Code Coco, Boy-Friend – now come encased in vivid pops of colour, making for some fine new additions to the Chanel family of watches. Shop here

A floral affair at Dunhill

To coincide with Dunhill’s Abstract Florals capsule collection, the British brand has teamed up with South London florist, Sage, to create a pop-up stand in the courtyard of Dunhill House in Mayfair. Running from July 7 till 10, Sage has created two custom arrangements inspired by the collection, which customers will be able to shop alongside the clothes themselves.

Kim Jones and Kenny Scharf reunite

After teaming up for Dior’s Fall 21 collection, Kim Jones and American artist Kenny Scharf reunite for a brand new capsule collection. Inspired by Monsieur Dior’s passion for games, the collection is laden with depictions of the king and queen of hearts – all in Sharf’s pop surrealist stylings. Featuring shorts, shirts, bucket hats and relaxed jackets, the collection is available to buy right now. Shop here

In Juicy we trust

Carrying on with the brand’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, the recently revamped Juicy Couture presents a loungewear capsule featuring the OG Juicy crest. Coming in a series of four colouways, the collection of tracksuits come stamped with “In Juicy We Trust” on the rear. Shop here

Saint Laurent is demin all over

It’s all about the denim at Saint Laurent, as Anthony Vaccarello launches his new denim line. Photographed by Gray Sorrenti, in a campaign that stars Romeo Beckham, Hailey Bieber, Sonny Hall, Megan Miles and Anok Yai, the collection features everything from distressed denim jackets to daisy dukes. Ambush escapes the city

For SS22, designer Yoon Ahn has taken a step in a new direction. “Ahn charts a new map for the brand, which will always have the city and its streets as its nucleus, but now includes the wild and free expanses,” states the press release, with the designer setting her sights on the joy of nature to inform her Ambush design lexicon this season.
