See now, buy now? Pssh. For their first London show, Nicopanda took it to the next level. Teaming up with Amazon Fashion, Nicola Formichetti allowed viewers to literally place orders for pieces as they walked the runway, which would then be delivered a few hours after the show. Isn’t that just the most modern thing you’ve ever heard? As for the clothes, the first thing that comes to mind was the map of the school cafeteria in Mean Girls – think: cliques.
The jocks were wearing adidas-esque tracksuits but with a Nicola Formichetti flair, AKA ruffles and shrunken – so shrunken in fact, that some of the boys bottoms were literally just a pair of pants. Needless to say, we weren’t complaining. The nerds served school pride realness, decked out in NP variety lettering, and then the “cool kids” – quite street, but that’s what cool kids wear these days. Isn’t it? And it’s what Nicola does best. We even had a prom queen, and by prom queen we mean queen of after hours London – HRH Princess Julia. Whatever the social status – Nicola’s got you sorted.
