Timepiece. Chronometer. Wristwatch. Whatever you want to call them, Hublot have been making them for a long time, almost forty years in fact, which also happens to be just about the same time that The Prince’s Trust has been supporting disadvantaged teens in the UK. And so what better way to celebrate with a party (read: alcohol)? Cue Premier League football stars, past and present, and a swanky soiree at Kensington Palace Gardens to launch Hublot’s special edition timepiece, the ‘Classic Fusion Chronograph Prince’s Trust’, which, despite being a bit of a mouthful, is simply a very nice watch. For someone who knows little about the subject, except how to read them (most of the time), the watch’s spec is a bit like trying to decipher a foreign language. But it sounds very impressive. You need to get your act together though if you fancy one of these puppies wrapped round your wrist, because they are limited to 100 pieces, with a portion of proceeds from each sale going directly to the Prince’s Trust Charity. Go. Run. Buy.
The collection will be launched at Harrods with exclusivity for 1 month from April 27th 2017
