Nensi Dojaka continues to broaden her design repertoire with a sophistication and refinement that puts her beyond her years. This season, with the help of a killer cast including Mariacarla Boscono, Adut Akech and Imaan Hammam, she continued to step beyond the lingerie-inspired party dresses that nabbed her the LVMH Prize in 2021.
Here she introduced jeans that migrated into lace trousers, sheer leggings that blossomed into petal-shaped ankles and a faux fur coat frosted with Swarovski crystals. Knockout evening gowns she delightfully dubbed ‘snowflake’ dresses came fashioned from tulle, jersey and velvet, tracing the natural lines of the body and cleverly covering all the right places. It was poetically sensual and superbly done.
