Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you may have realised at the end of last year there was a craze sweeping the nation. First there was planking, then the ice bucket challenge, but what I’m referring to is the mannequin challenge. I’m not really sure what the rules are, but I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with standing really still and acting like a mannequin. Sounds easy, I guess anyone could do it, right? Wrong. As always Mother Miuccia comes and turns your world upside down. This time with her offerings for Miu Miu Pre-Fall 2017 AKA the best mannequin challenge ever. Serving some 1940s glamour the mannequins look down on you as you peruse them. Taunting you. You think you could do better punk? You’ll never be this still, this glam, and this decked out in Miu Miu. So you can have a seat. And they’re right, but you’ve got something they don’t. The ability to move. So whilst they stand still, mocking you, you have your chance to grab their garms and make a speedy exit with them. I have particularly got my eye on the fur lined, American-style bomber jackets, the peach flavoured Campino coloured fur coats and (of course) the pearls. Classy and sassy, and a little bit nasty. All sides of a woman. Which only begs the question, Mother Miuccia what is the next challenge?
