Fashion loves a collaboration right now. It’s like an Oprah moment. You do a collaboration! You do a collaboration! Grab whoever’s closest and conjure up something fabulous. This was probably the mindset when New York City fashion trailblazers Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui decided to create a capsule collection together. Why the hell not? Also a contributing factor was probably the fact that they go way back – all the way to being Parsons alums. The result is everything you’d expect of a Sui x Jacobs infusion, an NYC appropriate underground street situation meets super kawaii vibes. So, our dream. Wide eyed caricatures of Marc and Anna by Will Broome sit so sweetly on bags and jumpers, their names scrawled across the pieces. It’s for the ultimate New York City living girl who just gets it and knows the value of a limited edition fashion collaboration. A whole section of our wardrobes will now be dedicated to this collection which comprises of shoes, bags, key chains and apparel. All boxes ticked. Says Sui, “Marc and I have been good friends for a long time. I can’t believe it has taken us this long to collaborate.” We can’t believe it either. No dream duo is off limits in 2018.
