MAN: TOPMAN & FASHION EAST ANNOUNCE NEW DESIGNER LINE-UP FOR S/S15
I once wore a mouthpiece like the one pictured. It was made of translucent blue plastic. I was at the orthodontist’s at the time. I didn’t look very good. But then, I’m not a Bobby Abley model so there’s no reason why it would have done. Besides, I had a pained expression on my face and saliva dribbling down my chin. Bobby’s boys are bolshie though. They’ve got tattoos. Oh, and a fuck off attitude. That’s why they can get away with mouthpieces and teddy bears. The good news is that Bobby’s boys will be returning to the MAN catwalk this June. Mouthpieces and all. (Fingers crossed.) Abley will be joining MAN newbies Nicomede Talavera and Liam Hodges who will be presenting their latest designs at London Collections: Men. The three join MAN’s impressive alumni that includes J.W. Anderson, Christopher Shannon and Craig Green. We’re excited already.
