In exciting news that was announced this morning, British designer Luella Bartley has been announced as head of Global Design for Calvin Klein Jeans. Taking over from Kevin Carrigan, who departed the brand shortly after Raf Simons was announced as the Chief Creative Officer, she will be in charge of all Calvin Klein Jeans products globally. Jeans, clothes, the lot. Not much else is known as yet, but it is reported that she will report to directly Pieter Mulier, creative director of CKI and Raf’s right hand man. As Sophia said via Instagram this morning: “congratulations darling brilliant girl Luella Bartley on your amazing new adventure as as Head of Global Design for Calvin Klein Jeans. Jeans even for me!” And, on that note, congratulations from all of Ten Towers on your new appointment and here’s to an even more pant-wettingly exciting new era at Calvin Klein!
