Yesterday, when Ten Towers was already in a state of frantic overheated perspiration, we received a rumour through the fash-vine that Nicolas Ghesquière was set to leave the house of Louis Vuitton. There were tears, someone collapsed. How could this be? Luckily, though, after a heavy dose of prescription meds and a good night’s sleep we woke up to the news that Louis Vuitton have denied the “strongly denied” the rumour. Apparently, he has two years left of his contract left. “Louis Vuitton has categorically denied the report that it is considering a change of creative director,” said the Business of Fashion. Phew. Nothing to see here. Now, can we all just get back to what we’re doing please?
